Important note before you buy

Buying from us you will, without any doubt, get value for your money - in most cases you would probably have to pay twice as much to purchase the equivalent product manufactured in your country, but you need to be aware before you buy that in most countries all goods imported over a certain amount, which varies by country, are subject to some form of duty or tax.

These charges are your responsibility and have to be paid for at the time of receiving the goods or some time later. You need to make an allowance for this additional cost when placing your order.

The duty or tax rates vary by country but such rates are normally applied on the import value, not the price you pay. To offer you some idea of the impact of this extra cost, although we cannot accept any responsibility for this, imports into the UK are subject to VAT at 15%, (increasing on 1 Jan 2010 to 17.5%). We must stress again that this is only intended as a guideline to make you aware of a possible additional cost. We cannot accept any responsibility regarding the actual amount of tax or duty payable. It is your responsibility to check what this duty or tax will be in your country.

We also need to mention here that customers in the following 5 countries should pay particular attention to this matter, because their countries have very strict import rules and regulations. These countries are France, Portugal, Spain, Greece and Malta.

Our manufacturers do not entertain returns for a refund if a buyer decides not to accept delivery due to extra charges being levied by customs. But, unlike other importers, we do offer customers who have ignored all our advice and wish to return product, a "last resort" partial refund option under very strict conditions - please refer to our Trading Terms page.
