What is a WIFI Phone ?
A phone with wifi adds a new dimension to the standard or regular phone. In addition to making and receiving calls and having similar features as regular phones, the wifi phone has greater retrieval capabilities and wider internet access. There is no need for a telephone line to connect to the Internet. A Wifi Phone uses wireless technology.

What is a PDA Phone ?
A PDA, which stands for Personal Digital Assistant, is the name given to a small handheld device that combines computing, internet and net working features and a PDA Phone is simply an extension of this, a PDA which also includes the features of a Mobile Phone.
This sounds very much like the definition of a smartphone and the truth is that there is little or no difference between a PDA Phone and a Smartphone - A PDA Phone is a PDA with Mobile Phone functionality and a Smartphone is a Mobile Phone with PDA functionality. There is no industry definition for one or the other so the confusion will continue and since some will look for a PDA Phone and others will look for a Smartphone we have created two sub categories to ensure that everyone easily finds what they are looking for.
What are Smartphones ?
Smartphones are considered to be the combination of the traditional PDA and mobile phone, with a bigger emphasis on the mobile phone element. These handheld devices integrate mobile phone capabilities with the more common features of a handheld computer or PDA. Smartphones allow users to store information, e-mail, install programs, whilst at the same time using a mobile phone all in one device. The features of a smartphone are usually more oriented towards mobile phone options than the PDA-like features. There is however no industry standard for what defines a smartphone, so any mobile device that has more than basic cell or mobile phone capabilities can actually be included under the category of Smartphones.
Smartphones could, and are, also called PDA Phones and since there is no industry standard to define the difference, if there is a difference, we have created two sub categories to ensure that whether you search for smartphones or you search for PDA Phones, you will always find mobile phones of the type you are looking for.
What is Dual Sim ?
Dual Sim refers to Mobile Phones and a dual sim phone is one with two sim slots which can take two sim cards with different phone numbers. The practical effect is that you have two phones on the same handset. This allows for a larger memory and thus more contacts but the main advantage is that you can organise your calls better by for example having a business phone line and a personal phone line.
What is Dual Standby ?
Dual Standby refers to Mobile Phones with Dual Sim i.e. phones with two sim slots. With Dual Standby both sims are on standby to take or receive calls. However when a call is made or received on one of the sims the second sim becomes temporarily dormant and cannot receive calls or be used to make calls. As soon as the call ends the second sim returns to the standby mode so that both sims are again on standby. In other words both sims are active but only one can be in use at a time.
What is a Touch Mobile ?
A Touch Mobile is a Mobile Phone that uses the Touch Screen method for you to interact with your Mobile Phone. Touch Screen is the latest technology for the input of data into electronic devices such as mobile phones. What is a Bluetooth Phone ?
Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows computers, phones and other devices to talk to each other over short distances (up to 100 metres). What is a Flip Phone ?
The Flip Phone, or Clamshell Phone as it was first more appropriately named, is a Mobile Phone which is in two or more sections which fold via a hinge. When the clamshell is open, the phone is ready for use. The interface components are displayed on the inside of the clamshell, which offers more surface area than when the device is closed. The components such as keys and display are protected when the clamshell is closed, and it is less long or wide, making the phone easier to carry around. A disadvantage of the clamshell design is that the connecting hinge is prone to fatigue or failure.
What is a Slide Phone ?
The Slide Phone, or Slider Phone as it is also called, uses the concept of the clamshell, or flip phone, to create additional surface area for the keys and display by having two sections one of which slides into and out of the other. Whilst offering a smaller protected area thus protecting only some of the components, this design is generally thought to be more robust than the clamshell.
