In regards to the question of Nintendo ROM files, the laws governing its ownership and transmission vary from country to country. In general, much like how it is with audio files, you are allowed to make a copy for personal use only if you have bought and own the original source. In the case of ROM files, you are required to be in actual possession of the game cartridge pc board (PCB) in order to legally retain a copy of the ROM. Check with your local authorities before downloading Nintendo ROMs off the Internet. Plug your phone into your computer's USB port. Choose MASS STORAGE on the phone. A folder will open up on your computer. This is the CVEM-M94's memory folder. Inside this main folder will be another folder called GAMES. Put the NES game you downloaded from the web into that folder. - What's an NES ROM?
Without writing a novel about it, think of ROM as game file. - What's an NES Emulator?
This is special software that plays NES ROM's. - From which sites can I download NES Rom's?
Google is your friend. Try "NES ROM Emulators". The files you're looking for are usually zipped or rar'ed. After you get the game files of the folders, the actual extension on compatible games for this phone ends with .nes. Have fun! OK fine. Google is your friend, but Chinavasion is your best friend so this is where we get our game on when we want to relive the most awesome gaming experiences of all time: [http://www.theoldcomputer.com/Libraries/Emulation/NES/ROMs/NES_roms_summary.htm]................fine fine, Chinavasion is your best friend for life, we took some time out of our busy schedule to download some cool ROMs and upload them on Rapidshare. Throw these into the Games Folder in the LevelUP and you can start playing: [http://rapidshare.com/files/349538125/GamesForLevelUP.rar]. Cheers! - As a current generation teenager I find 8 bit games so lame, what do you have to say to that?
Well the word lame is not to be used lightly certainly not to describe 8 bits games. Let me put it to you this way. If your first experience with Star Trek was through Next Generation, you might view The Original Series as lame. But could TNG have existed without the original. I think not. In the same way, awesome games like World of Warcraft or God of War wouldn't be so amazing if it hadn't been for pioneers like Super Mario Brothers 3 or Legend of Zelda. IMHO, the only things aside from folks who try to impose their beliefs on you that are lame are the second and third instalments of the Matrix franchise. The CG in the scene where Neo fights a million Agent Smiths was really lame. So fake! So lame! And despite what you Tolkien purists say, Peter Jackson's LOTR was NOT lame. Though I must admit that I was a little perturbed when Tom Bombadil didn't make an appearance in the movie. - How many phone contacts can the LevelUP hold?
The phone itself can store 500 contacts. SIM cards can usually store 250 contacts. With 2 SIM card slots, that's 1000 contacts you can store on this phone! - Which version of VCard does this phone use?
The LevelUP uses both VCard 2.1 and 3.0 - How do you set up speed dial?
Keys 2-9 are reserved for customized speed dialing. Path to set speed dial: Phonebook >> Phonebook Settings >> Speed Dial - How do I keep the screen on longer?
