WARRANTY AND RETURNS
Warranty
All products are supplied with a 12 month warranty from the manufacturers. This means that if there is any quality defect that causes the device to be unacceptable for sale or is unusable during the 12 months following the receipt of the goods by you, the manufacturer will accept the return and either repair the item, replace the item with an identical one, or an equivalent one which you accept, or give you a refund.
Goods with a problem
It does not happen often but if you are a customer with goods which appear to have a problem, you must advise us as soon as you can. If we can't resolve your problem we contact the manufacturer immediately and pass on any information to you. In most cases we are able to sort out the problems by giving you technical support, without you having to send anything back.
If however there are defects with the device which cannot be remedied, you can return them to the manufacturer for repair or replacement under the 12 month warranty.
Returns Procedure
Please note however that before you send anything back we need to supply you with the approved paperwork from the manufacturer authorising the return. Without this the manufacturer may not be able to identify (link) the return to the original order and so may not be able to complete the repair, replacement or refund.
The manufacturer reserves the right not to provide a solution if goods are returned without them been given the opportunity to resolve the problem with their contact technical support and/or without their approval and/or without the proper paperwork.
Who pays for the Returning Items ?
The cost of shipping a probable faulty item back to the manufacturer is borne by the customer. Such cost will only be refunded if a serious error has been made by us or by the manufacturer.
Returns found not to be defective
Be warned returns are not accepted because the customer has changed his mind, or because an incorrect product was ordered, or because the customer prefers another colour unless this was specifically stated on the order, or because they refuse to pay import duties in their country.
It is important that you ensure a device is defective before you send it back as such, because if this is found not to be defective, the manufacturers will at their discretion only offer a partial refund after making a re-stocking charge. In such case the refund obtained is passed back to you but we accept no further liability.
Other Cases where a full Refund is not offered
If the returned items have been damaged by the user or there are parts or key accessories missing the manufacturer reserves the right not to make a full refund, and in such case we would only be able to pass on the refund the manufacturer deems to be appropriate.
The definition of damage includes any attempt by the user to disassemble a product for any reason without prior approval from the manufacturer obtained via Easy Shopping - Electronics.
In particular the following actions by the user constitute damage to the product and invalidate the warranty.
- Opening a product up to attempt the repair or modify it's components.
- Flashing the firmware.
- Using non approved software.
Refund of Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are not refundable ! Such costs would only be refundable if the item supplied is substantially not as the item ordered is described in our website.
Shipping Problems
First of all, shipping problems are not a cause for concern to us and should not be a cause for concern to the buyer simply because such problems are very rare. Our manufacturers, with years of experience of delivering worldwide, ensure that the delivery information on orders is sufficient for the courier, and tracking details are given to customers so they know when to expect delivery.
Secondly all shipments are covered by the Couriers Insurance so that any losses suffered in transit such as lost packages or damaged goods can be reclaimed.
The important issues for the customer are simply that he must act responsibly and communicate any problems immediately, okay.... within a few days !
In particular:
- He/she must only sign for what he/she receives.
- Any physical damage to packages must be noted on the paperwork of the courier that he/she signs.
- Easy Shopping-Electronics must be notified by email of such damage and any other discrepancy identified when the package is opened and the product used. This should be done within 7 days of receipt.
- Easy Shopping-Electronics must be notified by email of non receipts within 7 days from the date the package was expected.
In all such cases Easy Shopping-Electronics will notify the manufacturer and will work together with the manufacturer to resolve the matter with the courier, including the making of the Insurance Claim and pursuing such claim to conclusion, to provide the customer with a replacement as soon as possible.
