SECURITY CAMERA SYSTEM
The camera receiver set models on this page all include a wireless receiver and indoor / outdoor cameras (unless otherwise stated) perfect for keeping an eye on your home or small business day and night. You will however need to connect the receiver via AV out to a TV to view the camera images on a large screen.
WIRELESS CAMERA SECURITY
A Wireless surveillance camera set is easier to install than wired systems because no wires have to be laid and hidden. However, sometimes the radio signals from the wireless surveillance camera may not initially connect with the receiver. If at first you don't get a picture from your wireless surveillance camera, or if the picture is blurry, try putting your receiver in a different location and removing sources of radio interference.
WIRELESS CAMERA SET
The practical benefit of the wireless camera set is it's mobility. You will be able to reposition each camera without having to undo and relay cables, and you will do this, as well as adding or removing cameras without disruption to the remainder of the surveillance system.
WIRED OR WIRELESS ?
Wireless may sound more upmarket and it does have the mobility advantage but it does come with a higher security risk. Anyone with the most basic wireless network can tap into any other wireless network within range. For a home security system which if properly planned should not require the movement of cameras to different locations the lower security risk of wired systems is worth serious consideration.

All our camera receiver sets record audio as well as video, with the exception of the mini camera set all cameras are waterproof and, with one exception, they all come with user manuals in english (please check individual specifications).

CCTV CAMERA
CCTV stands for Closed Circuit TV - it relates to cameras used in security and surveillance camera systems. Installation requires wiring the security camera to connect with a receiver such as a DVR system. Alternatively, even a wired security camera can be connected to a wireless transmitter and then the receiver can pick up the signal remotely.
